Opiah

A medium to light cherry red colour, the bouquet is reserved and shows spice and sweet red fruits. The palate is balanced and well integrated with tannins and a savoury character. The wine is elegant and representitive of a classic Northern Yarra Valley Pinot. 

The NV-6 Pinot grapes are sourced from Swallowfield Vineyard owned by the Abela family in Gembrook.

The wine is made at the 2019 winner of James Halliday's winery of the year - Seville Estate, by winemaker Dylan McMahon and their wine team. 

Dylan is responsible for many other premium wines, including the award winning "Dr McMahon" shiraz named after the original owner of Seville and Dylan's grandfather Dr Peter McMahon.
